Gabrielle is a French, Swiss, Ecuadorian aspiring filmmaker. She was Born and raised in Paris and currently a senior at Yale. She has written directed multiple short films screened at student festivals, exhibited photography, and is currently working in black-and-white 35mm with support from a CPA grant. Her senior Thesis advised by filmmaker and professor Sahraa Karimi, examines the filmography of Chantal Akerman. Last summer, she completed an intensive film program at FAMU in Prague. Gabrielle co-directed the Yale Student Film Festival in 2023 and now serves as vice president of the Yale Film Society. She is also developing a 15-minute short film about a ballet dancer, planned to be shot in Paris in spring 2026.
